Swap the hustle and bustle of Mykonos Town for an alternative view of the rugged Aegean island on this full-day safari

Our tour takes us first along the coast to Choulakia beach and from there up to the lighthouse( stop ). From there we drive through the area of Marathi past the dam and Panormos beach ( stop ) to the bay of Agios Sostis(stop ). Then we drive to the area of Ano Mera where we have a stop at Paleokastro, the ruins of a Venetian Castle. We explore the area around Ano Mera with its agriculture and the nearby old abandoned mine (Merchia beach stop ).  Lunch stop at Ano Mera  village  (not included in the price).Then we continue along the south coast and drive past Kalafatis  through the green area of Halara. Our next stop is at Agrari Beach where we have time for a coffee and  a swim stop . From there we head back for Mykonos town having as the last highlight of the tour, a  photo stop at the Panorama point above the city.  The tour ends at the old Port or at the hotel.

Itinerary

  • Choulakia Beach

    The Choulakia Beach is located on the west coast of Mykonos is by far the most impressive pebble beach on Mykonos. From there we will head to the Lighthouse. 
  • Panormos Beach

    Panormos Beach is fairly quiet and frequented by sunbathers. It is located in a beautiful setting and is exposed to a cool sea breeze.
  • Agios Sostis Beach

    Agios Sostis is among the quietest beaches of the island due to its location, a bit far from the popular southern beaches of Mykonos.
  • The Monastery of Paleokastro

    The Monastery of Paleokastro. Located to the north of Ano Mera, this 18th century nunnery is a typical example of the monastic architecture of the Cyclades.
  • Ano Mera

    Ano Mera is located almost in the heart of the island, just 8 km from the capital of Mykonos, Chora. Is the picturesque village one comes across along the northeast shores of the island. It not only stands out for its classical Cycladic beauty, but also for its scenic streets and traditional taverns.
  • Agrari Beach

    This is a long sandy beach, which, although popular with locals and tourists, still offers plenty of space for yourself.
